There were 18
units with pipers/pipe bands in the Canadian Army,
of whom 16 were infantry regiments, one was an arm
of service (The C.W.A.C.) and one was only the pipe
band of a regiment (the Irish Fusiliers), the
battalion having been dispersed over several
regiments as replacements. Their Wartime nicknames
are listed here behind them.
