There were 18 units with pipers/pipe bands in the Canadian Army, of whom 16 were infantry regiments, one was an arm of service (The C.W.A.C.) and one was only the pipe band of a regiment (the Irish Fusiliers), the battalion having been dispersed over several regiments as replacements. Their Wartime nicknames are listed here behind them.
